Why was my SSIC code automatically changed from 70201 to 62021?

Singapore's national industrial classification was updated from SSIC 2020 to SSIC 2025, effective 9 May 2026. ACRA's BizFile+ system automatically mapped every existing entity to its closest SSIC 2025 equivalent using the official SingStat correspondence table. The code SSIC 70201 (Management consultancy services) was reclassified to SSIC 62021 (Information technology consultancy (except cybersecurity)) under that mapping.
