Why was my SSIC code automatically changed from 90001 to 90201?
Singapore's national industrial classification was updated from SSIC 2020 to SSIC 2025, effective 9 May 2026. ACRA's BizFile+ system automatically mapped every existing entity to its closest SSIC 2025 equivalent using the official SingStat correspondence table. The code SSIC 90001 (Production and participation in live theatrical presentations) was reclassified to SSIC 90201 (Production of live theatrical presentations) under that mapping.
Do I need to take any action?
